Sports Medicine Australia (SA Branch) can provide a Sports Injury Management Service (SIMS) for your event. We will coordinate a service to meet your needs with our Accredited Sports Trainers &/or Sports Medicine Professionals to ensure early injury management of sports injuries.

OUR SERVICE IS AVAILABLE FOR:

• School Sports Days
• Season Competitions
• Local Sporting Events
• Team Support
• National or International Competitions
• Junior / Senior / Masters Competitions

MANAGERS / ADMINISTRATORS / EVENT ORGANISERS / SPORTS COORDINATORS:

• To help fulfil a Duty of Care and Legal Responsibilities
• SIMS Sports Trainers and Sports Medicine Professionals hold appropriate insurance policies
• Injury Report Forms to be completed and kept at SMA
• Need to budget for the SIMS Service

To apply for this service please complete the application form and return to SMA SA with as much notice as possible (minimum 1 month preferred).
