2018 FAST Conference Presenter List

Kate Beerworth

Kate is an experienced APA Sports Physiotherapist and was previously the Head Physiotherapist for the Westfield Matilda’s for 10 years. Kate has extensive experience with soccer and netball related injuries and is passionate about ACL prevention and ACL rehab.

Kate’s other clinical interest’s include injury prevention, return to play and return to performance for all lower limb conditions. Kate continues to be involved with Football Federation Australia following her 12 years as a travelling team physio and has recently taken on a new role as National ACL Prevention & Injury Prevention Co-ordinator.

Kate is also the current Vice President of SASMA and long term Council Member.

Kristian De Pasquale

Kristian is a Podiatrist currently based at SPORTSMED∙SA and is the Team Podiatrist for Port Adelaide Football Club. He is also currently a clinical supervisor at University of South Australia and is part of their student placement program.

Dr Kevyn Hernandez

After completing his undergraduate degree in Health Science Kevyn completed his Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology in Canada. This knowledge was coupled with a medical degree from Flinders University when he moved to Australia. Extensive experience in emergency medicine and orthopaedic surgery along with a passion for human movement in sport, have propelled Kevyn to work as a Sport and Exercise Medicine registrar. Kevyn is also currently working as the head doctor for North Adelaide Football club.

Max Martin

Max Martin is one of the founders of iNform Health & Fitness and has over 15 years experience in assisting people with their movement goals. Max has a particular interest in Musculoskeletal rehabilitation, athletic development and running technique.

Carlie Altman

Carlie is a Podiatrist at SPORTSMED•SA with a particular interest in netball, dance and running injuries. Carlie specialises in paediatric and adolescent podiatry as well.

Carlie also tutors at UniSA and is on the SASMA Education Committee.

Samuel Stewart

Samuel is a Physiotherapist and is currently completing his Masters of Advanced Musculoskeletal Clinical Physiotherapy. Sam is also a ESSA Accredited Exercise Scientist and continues to work at University of South Australia as an educator. He has been head physiotherapist for the Adelaide City Women's Football Club, Adelaide Phoenix and physiotherapist for the Metro United Women's Football Club.

Matt Belton

Matt Belton is a Physiotherapist currently working at Mitcham Rehab and Marion Sports Physio. Matt has previously worked as a team physiotherapist for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the SANFL and is currently involved on the committee for the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s Sports Physiotherapy Group in South Australia.

Sarah O'Donnell

Sarah O'Donnell is currently working at PhysioXtra Marion, and is the Senior Team Physio at Glenelg Football Club in the SANFL. Sarah has also been involved with Glenelg's Women's SANFL team.

Sarah has also been on the Medical team at the Adelaide 500 (previously Clipsal 500) attending to the racing drivers and motoX riders.

Dr Dan Wilson
Dan is an Adelaide University Graduate and member of the Royal College of General Practitioners. He is currently completing training in Addiction Medicine and has worked in the field since 2010. He also worked with the State Government Drug and Alcohol Service, providing both acute and ongoing care to people with substance use disorders.

Dan has a background in community, national and semi-professional baseball and is a player life member of the Glenelg Baseball Club, and a premiership team member of the Goodwood Saints Football club. Dan has also previously worked with the Port Adelaide Magpies SANFL Senior Squad.
