After a successful inaugural conference in 2011, Sports Medicine Australia is proud to present the FAST (Fitness And Sports Trainers) Conference again in 2012. This is the annual conference for Sports Trainers and Fitness Professionals run by Sports Medicine Australia and features presenters who are leading experts in their field.

SMA-SA is proud to announce that Anna Meares winner of the Gold Medal in London will be the Conference's keynote speaker. This will really set the tone for what will be a magnificent day.
After lunch Sports Physician Dr Andrew Potter (Chief Medical Officer of the Adelaide Football Club) will be speaking about Concussion.

A couple of the many highlights throughout the day include a lecture session with Dr Mark Ralfe on Spinal Injuries. Get your hands busy in a practical taping workshop with the Head Trainers from Port Power and Adelaide Crows, Shane Worner (Power) & Vince Del Bono (Crows).
This year we have added an additional session before the official start to the conference for Sports Trainers and Fitness professionals to update their skills in these areas. This session will commence at 7.00am and is an additional cost of $20.00.
Sports Trainers will be able to use the conference as part of their Education Record for Reaccreditation, whilst Fitness Professionals can gain 4 CEC points. |
